Journeyman Electrician – El Paso, Texas

X3 is hiring licensed Journeyman Electricians for a major project in the El Paso, TX area. This is a large-scale opportunity with immediate workforce needs, and qualified electricians may be able to start as soon as next week.

Job Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical drawings to ensure proper installation
• Plan and execute layout and installation of electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures per job specifications, local codes, and safety guidelines
• Prepare work areas and ensure tools, materials, and equipment are staged and ready
• Connect wiring and equipment per code and job specification
• Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and necessary repairs
• Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical problems and make corrections as needed
• Work alongside your foreman, crew, and other trades to complete work properly and on schedule
• Advise foreman and site management of any hazardous conditions immediately
• Participate in meetings, trainings, and safety programs as required
• Document activities and log information per jobsite and company procedures
• Monitor and inspect the electrical work of Apprentice Electricians to ensure code compliance and quality standards
• Train and guide Apprentices on proper installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical wiring and equipment
• Provide leadership and support to less experienced crew members

Qualifications

• Current Journeyman Electrician License (must be licensed in TX or a reciprocal state as recognized by the TX licensing agency)
• Minimum 4 years of experience in commercial or industrial electrical construction
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Strong working knowledge of building codes and safety guidelines
• Solid communication and interpersonal skills
• Must meet attendance standards and comply with notification procedures
• Must pass a drug screen and background check
• Up to 15% travel may be required based on project needs
